Teddy & Red Blanket [Maybe We Can Find Hope] 청소년은 바쁩니다. 앞으로 어떤 미래가 펼쳐질지 모르는 불확실함 속에서, 숨 한 번 고르지 못하고 앞만 보며 달려갑니다. 세상은 청소년들에게 끊임없이 무언가를 증명하라고 요구하고, 그 과정에서 많은 친구들이 노력과 실패, 좌절을 반복하며 지쳐갑니다. 비단 청소년만의 이야기가 아닙니다. 세상의 많은 사람들이 무거운 짐을 지고, 저마다의 힘겨운 순간을 견디며 살아갑니다. 그런 세상 사람들에게 위로와 희망을 전하고 싶습니다. 가사처럼, 아무리 힘든 시기가 있더라도 언젠가는 괜찮아질 거고, 그 아픔도 모두 지나가 있을 거라고. 서로의 상처를 어루만지고, 긍정의 마음으로 한 걸음씩 나아간다면, 우리의 세상은 희망으로 물들어 있을 것입니다. 이 곡은 2025년 2월, 뉴욕 링컨 센터에서 열린 작은 음악 페스티벌에서 직접 공연했던 노래입니다. 공연이 끝나고 여러 다른 나라 친구들은 이 노래를 따라 부르며 어디서 다시 들을 수 있는지 물어보았고, 그 따뜻한 관심이 이 노래를 세상에 내어 놓을 용기를 주었습니다. 처음으로 만든 곡은 아니지만, 처음으로 세상에 정식으로 발표하는 곡이라는 점에서 큰 의미가 있습니다. 이 노래가 세상 사람들에게 작은 위로와 희망이 되었으면 합니다. Life as a teenager is hard, very busy. Living through a world of uncertainty where our future is unknown, we run forward without even stopping for a break, or even to catch our breath. The world constantly demands us to prove ourselves. Although it is part of the growing process, many of us struggle through the continuous cycles of effort and frustration. Yet it is not only teenagers; so many people in this world carry heavy burdens, enduring their own difficult moments every single day. We wanted to offer comfort and hope to such a world. As the lyrics suggest, no matter how hard things get, eventually, everything will be alright, and the pain will pass. We believe that if we care for each other’s wounds and move forward one step at a time with a positive heart, we can color the world with hope. This song was performed in February 2025 at a small music festival at Lincoln Center in New York. After the performance, our friends from different countries sang along and asked where they could listen to the song again. It was their warm response that gave us the courage to share this music with the world. While this isn't the first song we’ve ever written, it is deeply meaningful as it is the first we are officially releasing. We sincerely hope that through this music, you can find a small piece of comfort and hope. About the Artist: 테디 앤 레드블랭킷(Teddy & Red Blanket) 테디 앤 레드블랭킷은 17세 언니와 13세 동생으로 이루어진 싱어송라이터 자매 듀오다. 팀의 이름은 자매가 어린 시절 가장 소중하게 여겼던 애착 인형(Teddy)과 이불(Red Blanket)에서 비롯되었다. 이들의 음악적 여정은 베트남에서 지내던 시절, 할머니가 크리스마스 선물로 보내준 기타 한 대에서부터 시작되었다. 13살 동생이 놀라운 재능으로 직관적인 멜로디를 그려내면, 언니가 그 선율 위에 시적인 이야기를 더해 다듬는다. 이를 통해 진솔하고 따뜻하며, 지극히 개인적이면서도 깊은 울림을 주는 그들만의 하모니가 완성된다. 테디 앤 레드블랭킷의 노래는 사춘기를 지나며 느끼는 감정과 성장의 순간들을 담고 있다. 특히 10대 소녀들의 생각과 감정을 그들만의 멜로디와 가사로 이야기한다는 점에서 더 큰 의미를 가진다.
